The Federalbaseball.com Interview...Matt Iseman of Sports Soup.

(Non-Nationals' news follows...)

(ed. note - "Through my association with the SB Nation i've been given the opportunity to conduct an interview this morning with Matt Iseman, host of a new Versus network show Sports Soup, which is being billed as a Talk Soup for the sports world, taking an irreverent look at the circus surrounding professional sports. Anyone who watched the opening of the NHL season on Versus last night will have seen countless promos...

"I spent the night preparing for the interview, so there's no new Nationals' news, but for anyone who wants to follow along, I'll update throughout the morning whenever possible with details of my desperate attempts not to embarrass myself in front of the cameras...")

AFL Action...Nationals' Prospects, Peoria Saguaros Go 3-0...

Ross Detwiler, the Washington Nationals' #1 pick, 6th overall in 2007, made his Arizona Fall League debut last night for the Peoria Saguaros, throwing two scoreless innings while allowing 1 hit and 1 walk and striking out 1 Mesa Solar Sox batter to do his part in a 9-2 Saguaros' win which helped the Nationals-filled Peoria lineup to a 3-0 start in Fall League action. DC 1st base prospect Bill Rhinehart was 0 for 2 with a walk. DC infielder Ian Desmond was 1 for 3 with a walk and a K, and he's hitting .500 after three games.

(ed. note - "I'll be back tomorrow with whatever new news there is on DC's favorite baseball team...")

Waiting on the train...

If anyone reads this, you have about 1 hour to submit a question for Mr. Iseman. I’ll be glad to ask it as one of the 3-4 questions i might get in…

Just finished the interview...

One thing is for sure…I am not an actor!
Was a lot fun, though, and the host Matt Iseman had a lot to say which made it a LOT easier…more later…
