MLB.com's Bill Ladson Reports...Nationals Interested In Willie Randolph
According to MLB.com's Bill Ladson's article entitled, "Sources: Nats interested in Randolph", "The Nationals are seriously interested in hiring Willie Randolph as a bench coach, according to baseball sources..."
If the Nationals can take Jesus Flores, Manny Acta and Willie Randolph from NY, along with Lastings Milledge and Anderson Hernandez, the transformation into the Mets South will be nearly complete...next up...DC signs Pedro Martinez and Carlos Delgado...
I'm kidding, of course, but I do believe the signing of Willie Randolph would be a great move by a team that hasn't made many...more news to follow...I'm gonna track this one down...
Here's the source of the story, the New York Newsday article by Ken Davidoff entitled, "Nats interested in Randolph", and I hate to say I told you so, but wait 'til you see how long it takes the writer to mention Acta coming back to NY...
