Nick Johnson
What do you think the future of Nick Johnson is. I personally think the future of Nick Johnson lays in his hands. The Nationals want him ready for 2009. I just see him playing for 30 games hitting a 3 homer and batting .250. I think he is going to have a long career of being the bench bopper/Journey man. I think he will spend 1 or 2 more seasons in DC. I think he might go on the waiver wire. What do you think?

I'm hoping DC signs/trades for a young first baseman like maybe...
…Angels’ first baseman Kendry Morales and allows them to learn at the major league level while Nick Johnson and DY play out their deals…That being said I’m a big fan of Johnson who is hoping (as I have for 5 straight season) that he’ll play an entire season…I’ll settle for ’06 or ’07 Johnson, when he hit .289 and .290 in consecutive seasons in which he collected…
‘06 – 35 2B, 3 3B, 15 HR’s and 74 in 131 games‘07- 46 2B, 23 HR’s, 77 RBI’s in 147 games.

Nick Johnson
I have been reading some other posts and they say keep Nick Johnson. He might not stay much longer, and if Dunn gets signed, he is going to be on the bench again.
