Dunn Deal?
Guess who's on MLB.com's Bill Ladson's list of the Washington Nationals' free agent targets in his most recent article entitled, "Nationals targeting slugger to clean up"? You betcha, it's the man known around here as the "Bigger Wilkerson" Adam Dunn...according to Mr. Ladson:
"...the Nationals are looking for a cleanup hitter and have targeted free-agent outfielder/first baseman Adam Dunn, Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder, Rockies left fielder Matt Holliday and free-agent first baseman Mark Teixeira as possibilities to solve their problem at the No. 4 hole."
I wonder which one of those four is most likely to end up in DC...if any of them? You'll want to read this one...especially when Mr. Ladson starts discussing what the Rockies might take in return for Mr. Holliday...
I guess my only question is, which teams in the league don't have those four players listed as possible targets heading into the GM Meetings Monday...I'll be listening all day tomorrow for any whispers that escape over the airwaves...
PLUS...Coming up today at 2:00 pm EST SB Nation-wide...the results of the SB Nation's 2008 Manager of the Year voting...Check back and see if I voted for Manny Acta???
