MLB Gameday Audio?
Does anyone here use it? How well does it work? Is it steady and clear or does it have to be rebooted quite a bit? Is it worth the money or is there a better alternative?
I've always wanted to hear some National games and as you can well imagine picking them up on the radio here is impossible.
Thank you so much for your input and help, please know I deeply appreciate it. :)

MLB Audio and MLB.tv are both great...stream fine, cut out occasionally...but not enough to be a bother...
...but if you get MLB Audio and log on to MLB Gameday which updates in real time, it’s a great way to follow the games…
(And I don’t work for MLB, though it might sound like it, but they just really have excellent online content)

...and I think you get a choice of home or away broadcast teams...

Thank you so much!
I’m getting it and I’ll be listening to the Nationals tomorrow or the day after. :)

I use Gameday audio all the time...
...it’s a good deal for what you get, and hang-ups or pauses have been rare for me. You can choose home or away feeds (it defaults to home, so pick the “WWWT” feed to get the Nats announcers, Charlie & Dave—I’m a big fan of them).
Gameday is great—when it works. Usually it updates in near-real time (about a pitch ahead of the streaming audio feed), although sometimes it’ll hang up for no apparent reason for an inning or half-inning, then jump ahead to the current batter… The feeds on yahoo.com and espn.com are a little more reliable, but Gameday has the best/most stuff (in my opinion): pitch location, live updates of the complete box score, plus video clips of scoring plays and good defense, updated through the game (they usually go up 3 or 4 batters after the play in question). Of course, Gameday is also free, so you can’t complain too much!
When in doubt, blame PLoD

I listened to the Nats today....
It was a lot of fun. They hung tough but couldn’t pull it out despite threatening in the 9th. Despite loosing, it was great to hear the game! Thank you for telling me about MLB Audio. It is well worth the price. :)
I was thinking of making a comeback until I pulled a muscle -- vacuuming.
