"Nasty Boy" (Rob Dibble) to bring some "color" commentary to the booth!
As reported by J. Mac and "Nasty Boy" Rob Dibble on XM's "The Show" this afternoon, Rob Dibble, one of the former Nasty Boys from the Cincinnati Reds of the late 80's / early 90's will replace former MASN commentator Don Sutton.
I for one am extremely happy for this addition. I'll definitely be tuning into more Nationals baseball t.v. because of this. Heck, if the Nats are done making additions to the field, this is a more than welcome addition in the booth!

I was so excited that I actually called "The Show!"
I got on the air and talked to J-Mac and Rob Dibble…And let me tell you something. My voice sounds completely country! What the hell is that? I recorded the call using my portable XM Inno. After listening I thought: “No…There’s no way that could have been me. I do not sound like that.” Maybe I was just too excited?
Anyhow, I just wanted to welcome him to the Nationals family and I thought the Nationals fan base ought to be represented. I had one request of him. I asked him not to change anything that he does. I told him that I recognize the dynamic between t.v. and radio is slightly different, but please don’t change the way he delivers his analysis and commentary. Yes, Yes, I know. I’m Mets fans. First and foremost I am a Mets fan but hey. I live here in D.C. They get my money about 6 to 7 times a year so I think I rate a certain status as a Nats fan as well.

Now if they only get rid of Carpenter...
…I’m not sure this’ll be enough to for me to give up Charlie and Dave.
