Latest from The Former DC GM Jim Bowden's Twitter:
“Managerial leading candidates: Cleveland: Valentine,Acta & Lovullo; Houston: Garner, Melvin; WSH: Mattingly.”

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

I liked Scrap Iron when he managed the Astros

Does Bowden have any insider info, or is he just guessing?

I hate to say it, but uh, this one is over.

If it were anyone but Lee pitching, I’d feel differently.

His full name is Russell Nathan Jeanson Coltrane Martin.

Russell for his dad
Nathan for his grandfather
Jeanson was his mother’s maiden name
Coltrane because his father plays the sax like John Coltrane.

The J is for his mother’s maiden name, Jeanson.

Being in Southern California will do that to you...

My mother always thought they never should have left Brooklyn.

I can relate...

after all those years I spent in California, I’m still not used to East Coast winters. I’ve turned into a winter wimp.

Plus they were having a heat wave in LA last week.

Later everybody...this post season is a bust.

The evil empire against the red menace up the interstate in the Series.
