Going to be in and out all night, just figured I'd see if anyone was watching...

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

I'll be out.....leaving for about 10 minutes of work 110 miles away.......

Mezza: ''Are we there yet?'' ...Roscoe: "In baseball hell? Yes we are."
"Freakish things are happening."

Just wait for Burnett to blow it...then I can not cheer for the Phils to beat the Evil Empire...

Where the heck is the gig?

I bet this game will even be on the radio…

College Station, home of Texas A&M, recent venue for the Prez......

Took a non-baseball co-worker, but probably couldn’t stand to listen anyway….

Found out from “Ringo” that the Yanks won. His last name is Bithorn, as in a relative of Hiram Bithorn, the stadium in PR that the Expos called “home”……

Full Circle...

…now the healing can begin.

by RoscoeNats on Oct 30, 2009 8:39 AM EDT up reply actions

Oh, actually Yank fan Joe Bithorn played George Harrison in the show, "Rain"

It came up because I said it was hard to root for the Phillies, being an Expos’/Nats’ fan and all, or the Yanks because of everything else about them.

For me, this is the strangest world series ever. I despise both teams so much. I can’t pull for either one. I just watch because it helps remind me how very far the Nats are from being a world series caliber team.

I’ve never watched games before where I had no preference who wins.

I was kinda pulling for Pedro last night, but not enough to do anything but check the score.

Now, I just want it over so the announcements can begin…

And Philly makes it even harder by throwing Pedro "I hit Zimmer" Martinez...

I'm sure I told you this, but the Yankee announcers originally said,

“Pedro just threw David Wells to the ground.”

oh Wells, you big old ace!

Hey, Roscoe...the Heels just beat Va Tech!!!!

I could barely stand to watch…especially after a late VA Tech interception and score. But they managed a few heroics of their own and won.

Pedro hasn’t been amazing tonight. But who would look good after Lee’s performance last night?

Yep...HUGE ROAD WIN.

The UNC offensive coordinator finally figured out that Greg Little is his best offensive weapon since UNC lost so many from last year to the NFL.

Carolina’s 20-17 win is VT’s first home loss to an unranked team since 9/25/04 (NC State).

Wow..even better.

It was a much needed W for Carolina.
