In '06 the Mets come to RFK and take three-straight, leaving the Nationals 71-91. 2007 saw Washington finish the season on the road, against the Phillies, who hand the Nationals a 6-1 loss leaving them 73-89 overall and 0-3 on the last day of the season. 2008 too ended on the road, with Washington dropping three-straight to Philly in Citizens Bank as the Nationals continued the losing tradition, dropping games 100, 101 and 102 of 161...Today it's Atlanta, "Humble Ted" Turner Field, with a Washington Nationals' team that's won six straight...After this Dukes and Desmond go to the DWL, Strasburg and Storen start pitching for real, there's the permanent Manager position to fill and we'll see about what's going to happen at shortstop...For Now, The Nationals need to win one more, and spares us loss 104...

I gave a test that started by saying read the entire test before beginning, and the very last line on the second page said you can now hand this back in without answering questions for a perfect score for reading the directions…

Krispy Kreme doughnuts used to be much better before they started
using soybean oil and lots of chemicals.
It was big deal for me to be able to stop at the KK store in Raleigh after an appointment at the orthodontist. Seemed especially fitting.

One other thing he (a scout from another team) mentioned was that the Nationals are going to be beefing up their professional scouting staff this winter. “They’ve put out the word, and Rizzo’s name means a lot in the marketplace.” We’ll keep our ears open on that.
