Nice

As expected for the most part – but Clip was a surprise (thought Doodle might have shaded him). But stats wise and performance wise he has played terrific.

Appreciated the honorable mention of Padilla for minor league player…heh. Although im surprised in a way about Norris…I would have thought that Desmond would have nailed it due to the stunning performances. No mention of Stras? interesting…or is he viewed as a major league player?

Padilla walked into the Nats' clubhouse for the first time and said, "My God. I'm in heaven."

No Gibson.......Hale available......

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona manager A.J. Hinch says third base coach Chip Hale and first base coach Lorenzo Bundy will not return.

Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks gave a two-year contract extension to bench coach Kirk Gibson.

Chip Hale!!!.........He'll make guys run through walls for him!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_Hale

Chip Hale is also associated with probably one of the most memorable bloopers in baseball history when on May 27, 1991, while playing for the AAA-level Portland Beavers, he hit a deep fly ball to right where outfielder Rodney McCray attempted to catch the ball and ran through the wall.
