Nats Rain Outs
Just curious, has anyone complied the amount of innings the Nats lost to rain outs this year? For awhile it seemed like every home stand at least one game was lost. The attendance would have been down anyway with their record, but all that rain surely had an impact as well. I used to feel sorry for Charlie and Dave on the radio having to fill all that time! They did it very well though

11 innings
The Nats only had 4 rain-shortened games this season, which went 5, 6, 7, and 7 innings. I remember Charlie and Dave saying something toward the end of the season about the cumulative total rain delays, and it was fairly ridiculous, but I don’t remember what it was. I want to say like 3-4 days, or something like that.

I looked for the total rain delay time, and couldn't find it, even though that wasn't the question....

I've seen it listed in the box scores on MLB.com, but not added up anyplace or in the major stat sites.
You could click on every game and add it up, but my lunch hour isn’t that long…

I thought I saw it listed at NJ or elsewhere, but only found a midseason list at the Times.
Google is not all knowing… It was a lot…..
