Someone Please Tell Odalis Perez To Call The Washington Nationals...
Washington Post writer Chico Harlan's Nationals Journal post today entitled, "Bowden: Pick Up The Phone Odalis", might just be the height of ridiculousness, as the clock ticks on the veteran lefty's chance to make the trip to Florida and honor his contract before the Nationals have to get all legal on last year's Opening Night starter...Should we all post on phone # on our websites and blogs or something? Any way we can help?

You should’ve been gone
Knowing how Jim made you feel
And Jim should’ve been gone
After all your words of steel
Oh Jim must have been a dreamer
And Jim must’ve been someone else
And we should’ve been over
O-Dalis
Our cash holds on
Holds on
O-Dalis
Our cash holds on
Holds on

Poor Odalis...getting sung out of town...
Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

Who's gonna fight with Umpire Angel Hernandez about what a "balk" is?

I haven't heard any news about Zimm(nn)
I hope Collin is as ready as they believe him to be.
I suppose following the Cubs’ fans for years wanting to bring up their kids, and when they do and it’s not what they expected…… makes me a little bit apprehensive

"If Bowden was a general contractor, he’d build houses with nine bedrooms, six garages, no bathrooms, and half a roof. "

“Perez has been eerily consistent over the last four seasons, putting up win values of +1.6, +1.4, +1.5, and +1.5 and b) Perez projected to be worth right around +1.5 wins again in 2009, a fair market value of around $6.5 mil.”
By comparison, Dunn was worth 1.3 wins last year….. 27.4 batting -28.0 fielding (and I really don’t know what these numbers mean, ‘cepting smart guys sayin’ ’em…)
