Adam Dunn Has Been "Sitting On" An Offer From The Washington Nationals While He Waits For Manny Ramirez To Sign...
According to SI.com writer Jon Heyman the Washington Nationals have had an offer extended to Adam Dunn for some time now, and in Mr. Heyman's opinion:
"... the Nationals' offer has sat there so long he's sent a clear message he'd prefer to go elsewhere."
Maybe Dunn still thinks he can get the $56M over 4-years that ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick reported the free agent was looking for just a few weeks back...(canned laughter)...What do you think DC offered Dunn?
More on this and the Manny Ramirez/Nationals talk later...

I hope they offered league minimum and a coupon for a half-price Big Mac...
…which is more than he’s worth. Knowing better, however, I’d say $160M/10… but Big Wilkie wants to win…

$160 million??? (more canned laughter)...
…i’d be upset if he got the 4-year/$56M that was quoted above…
What are they gonna get for Nick Johnson if they sign Dunn and then have to try to trade an oft-injured, recovering, redundant (or superfluous might be a better word) player off of their roster…they’ll have no leverage whatsoever…
DY backing up Dunn…Boo…not Dmitri getting booed either…C’mon LA, the Bigger Wilkerson wants to play for you…
