According to SI.com writer Jon Heyman the Washington Nationals have had an offer extended to Adam Dunn for some time now, and in Mr. Heyman's opinion: "... the Nationals' offer has sat there so long he's sent a clear message he'd prefer to go elsewhere." Maybe Dunn still thinks he can get the $56M over 4-years that ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick reported the free agent was looking for just a few weeks back...(canned laughter)...What do you think DC offered Dunn?
