Good...Next step Strasburg, the #10 pick and we're off...
Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

I’m sure I’ll be happy about this at some point, but right now I can’t muster that emotion for anything associated with this team.

I'm with you there.... been reading many posts all over the place, and positive words escape me...
All I can think about is how even this will turn out badly.

Come on people - its a 162 game season
Perk up campers.
Not the beginning of the end – but the end of the beginning. We’ll get better (have to…really).

After that press conference
I am now able to be happy about this. Plus, we have the other Zim pitching tonight. Go Nats!

Good for Zimmerman.
Now maybe he can hire his own seamstress.
Interesting title to the link to Chico’s article. I was reading an article in the Washingtonian. For those who aren’t familiar with this magazine; it basically covers politics (well, those who are involved in politics w/out covering much of political substance), food (every week it seems to talk about the best restaurants to eat at), and homes to live in (apparently these homes are for the aforementioned politicians who have nothing substantive to be reported about)…
Anyway, apparently Mr. Harlan would rather write about food than the Nationals, and I quote:
“I don’t like sports — I am embarrassed that I cover them. I can’t wait to stop. It is a means to an end and a paycheck.”And uh…No, I’m not taking this out of context. The man’s real desire is to write about food. One wonders why he’s not been removed from The Washington Post and been hired on by Bon Appetite.
“E”, I’m not here to disparage a reporter/source (if he can be described as that) on your blog, I just find it a bit disheartening that the Nationals have someone writing for them who would rather write about food than baseball. If I were a player and knew this, why would I give the guy the time of day? Especially someone who wears a pink and plaid tie.
