How will Dmitri Young fit in?
I don't see where Dmitri would fit in on the roster once he recovers from his latest injury. The team still has the logjam in the outfield. They need to keep a couple backup infielders/utility players like Willie Harris and Ronnie Belliard (who is only starting now because of Hernandez' injury). It's true that there are 3 catchers but one of those guys will be gone once Jordan Zimmermann rejoins the team.
It's hard to imagine that Willingham or Dukes would be moved to free up a spot for Dmitri. So how would they find a place for Dmitri on the roster? I just don't see it but management seems to be assuming that he'll be back once he's healthy. Could this be a sign that one of the outfielders will be traded early in the season?

Young is a better firstbasemen than Dunn
Nick is injury prone. They will keep Young as insurance. Plus, we all like Young and it is said that he has a positive influence on Dukes (who needs every positive influence that he can find). I hope we keep Young and think the team will make a small effort to keep him. That said, he might have to go to AAA for a bit until we trade a guy unless someone goes down to injury
