Around SBN: The Amateur Mathematics Of Linsanity

In other news, on this day in 1918, Walter "Big Train" Johnson pitched an 18-inning complete game shutout against the Chicago White Sox, beating them 1-0 (it was one of 8 CGS he would pitch in the 1918 season). The Big Train helped himself by singling a runner over to third in the bottom of the 18th; the winning run scored on a subsequent wild pitch. Who'll be our future "little train"? Smarty? J-Zimm? Strasburg?
