Time for a fight song!

Not sure whether music can perform miracles, but it's worth a try...
New for 2009, "Welcome Home to the Nationals" is a classic fight song for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Whether you love that Nat's theme song, "We're Nuts About the Nats" (does anyone?) or it drives you crazy, please have a listen to "Welcome Home to the Nationals" and imagine a marching band (or ballpark organ) and fans singing at the start of home games and whenever a player drives a run home.
If you think "Welcome Home to the Nationals" is a winner, please tell Nationals Park management! It's going to take the support of a lot of fans to help this song have a positive impact. Thanks!
Welcome Home to the Nationals
Here in old D.C.
We're ever true to the red, white and blue
As Washington fights for victory.
So Welcome Home to the Nationals
Our own capital team.
Pledge your allegiance to Nats,
Our home team at the bat
And shout it out for old D.C.!

It's got a good beat and the kids can dance to it. I give it a "ding."
I haven’t heard “Nuts About the Nats” all season, which is a good thing. As a potential replacement, this is along the lines of a college fight song, like “Hail to the Redskins.” I can see drunk fans actually singing along with this one.
