Strasburg Taken Out Early / Post Game Sound
San Diego State Pitcher Stephen Strasburg left early in the Aztecs 2nd game of the Mountain West Conference Tournament on Wednesday, after pitching 7 and 2/3 of an inning with 6 K's. It seemed at first that he had strained his oblique muscle, but after confirming with Stephen and the teams trainer, both said parties said he had felt some tightness in his lower back, and was taken out by Tony Gwynn for precautionary reasons. Aztecs radio announcer Craig Elsten caught up with Strasburg following the game and asked him how he felt. www.619sports.net/aztecs

What if...
No one jump on me here, but no one ever does this in MLB…
What if we traded the draft rights for Strasburg for two ready to go top notch starters now? Like Peavy and someone else from SD… or am I totally out of my mind. I know the whole future thing but it less risky.

There is no trading of draft rights in MLB, or of the player for a year after signing him.
