I swear that SI must work for Boras.

$50m for a player that never has played at the top level is crazy, Dice-K money was for a pitcher who was proven (and one of the best in Japan).

That said, I’d still pick him up… but Im more hoping its for about $10-$15m.

Couple of questions.

1. When is the draft?
2. How long of a time period does he have to sign before the pick is forfeited?
3. Any chances that he pitches for the Nationals this year, perhaps as a September call up?
