Bring back Luis Ayala?
Sure, he wasn't good enough for a contender in Minnesota (which is why the Twins designated him for assignment), but he did throw more innings than any Nationals reliever, with a better ERA than most of them. Maybe Minnesota just wasn't the place for him; there's a huge difference between his home and road ERAs (5.59 vs. 2.08). His ERA over the last 30 days is 3.00. I'd take that coming out of the bullpen.

I think I'd take that too, over the Wells/Colome juggernaut.....
I’d also probably go back to the 9 man ’pen and quicker hooks, less McChattys…

I am ok with Ayala in the pen
He was great once, one of the best setup men in the game back before the first WBC. I still root for his success, sure go get him!

He'd want Beimel's job, and possibly McDoodle's or he wouldn't be happy.
I wouldn’t mind him, but only if he were happy with what they give him.
