Like the lineup much better today

Junior Nats Mock’d him now time for the SR. Nats
That would be pretty embarrassing wouldn’t it? 2 pitching losses in a row to the Nats and their affiliates( 5 game winning streak also) only 3 games out with showdown with first place yankees)

heh, that would be a sweet losing streak for Ol' Smoltzy on his comeback trail...

I am worried about not having Dukes’ arm in RF…

God only knows since it's the Grizzlies.

The completely terrible idea is Thabeet (tall guy who gets dominated by guys with superior athleticism – will get ripped up at the next level). Rubio wouldn’t be bad. I don’t think they’ll reach for anyone else, but Thabeet is kind of a “well, this guy’s tall so he can’t suck, right?” pick.

by Chris Pendley on Jun 25, 2009 7:43 PM EDT up reply actions

WHAT'S UP?

Nailed that Thabeet pick. That was too easy. Rubio should go next, and it should take about 0.000005 seconds for Seattle to come up to the podium.

my main concern with NJ is his at bat music

Was at the game a couple of days ago, they kept playing Kanye “Heartless”, and some 80’s song about leaving and being run out of town. I half expected to see him walk to the plate with his head down and dragging his bat. Tell him to cheer up.

Mrs Doghouse has a theory about that...

…he’s got a Beastie Boys song, the Kayne song, and Justin Timberlake. She seems to think he bats better when he’s bringing sexy back than when his posse’s on Broadway. I’ll have to take a look the next time I do Nats stats.

Ty Lawson to Minnesota, but will most likely be traded to Denver, thank goodness. Minn is just a mess of a franchise.

Per Wojnarowski...

The New Jersey Nets have agreed in principle to send Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to the Orlando Magic for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee, two league executives told Yahoo! Sports.

It’s a good deal for Alston since Van Gundy screwed up by not starting him during the finals and went with the out-of-shape jameer nelson.
