Given what we know about the rest of the game, I'm still not sure it matters.

I mean, RJ doesn’t pick up his 300th, but Hanrahan still screwed the pooch. At least it wasn’t a blown save this time.

by Chris Pendley on Jun 4, 2009 8:28 PM EDT up reply actions

How much more painful would Hanny's effort have been if they tied or took the lead there...

by Patrick Reddington on Jun 4, 2009 8:30 PM EDT up reply actions

Not that much more painful, if any.

Again, I saw Hanrahan blow a 6-3 lead with 2 out in the 9th earlier this season. That one sucked, and I saw it coming even then.

I say it’s Strasburg and the draft right now…

Think there's any chance Dunn asks to be traded...

Just thinking about his “I want to play for a winner” approach this winter…?

Its not just prospects thou.

I think we could trade for better position players. A younger SS with better defense, maybe the same for 2B. Better outfielders with better gloves…just a better balanced team.

Doest have to be a team full of 16 yr olds. I just think the team is awfully unbalanced at the moment – hence the horrific error count. Some trade could help us now and make us better for the future.

The Nats one one game only in each of the last 4 weeks...starting the week of May 10.

We’ve lost 2 games today. (most likely)

Looks like we get Redding, Maine and Livan this weekend. Reddings beatable…at least we know that.

Maybe we can get 2 wins this week,

But, what about the fans????

From NJ:
.
“There is virtually nobody in the stadium right now other than press, players, and stadium employees. There are maybe 50 people in the Red Loft area, and about 25 in one upper deck section of the outfield. Other than that, the attendance is… well, maybe seven or eight.”
