Reports are just breaking that the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets have agreed on a deal that sends Jeff Francoeur to NY for former Washington Nationals' and now former Mets' OF Ryan Church...

And we have 2 of em. Although I like what he’s been doing with the bat and unlike Dunn I actually think he’s improving with the glove. I wonder whether if they trade NJ, he would be the man most likely to be able to learn 1B… although it would be rough at times.

I dont mind the Hammer thou… he plays the game well and the right way.

Hee, the comments are hilarious. I thought it was funny when that Braves fan joked in the game thread a while back that we should take Frenchy… I never thought anyone would actually trade for him, much less someone semi-decent like Church.
