MASNSports.com's Pete McElroy put up a post game note reporting that the Nationals have recalled right-hander Garrett Mock with lefty Ross Detwiler being sent down to make his first stop at Triple-AAA after jumping from Double-AA Harrisburg to DC earlier this season.

Mock, 26, was in the midst of a stretch of five-straight wins over which he'd allowed just 2 ER in his last 35.0 IP. In 13 games with DC this season, Mock was (0-2) with a 6.92 ERA in 13.0 IP.

Mock ready to roll

I think this a move we all saw coming. Ross did a great job but its clear he needs some more time before he is a part of the rotation. Looking forward to seeing Mock take his opportunity though…although the way this team bats behind its pitchers…it probably wont reflect much on his stats.

I want to know Mock's batting average. Nats' pitchers are hitters too.

The USA is falling apart in the last inning of the futures game. OUCH.

Espinosa looks good in the field but I’ve seen 2 Ks and a weak ground out from him at bat.

Mock's batting .333........ sounds like there may be a DH in most of his starts, although they can bat the pitchers by agreement.

Last start had a DH, before that he went 1-2 with an RBI. K, and sac bunt

Garrett Mock singles on a line drive to right fielder David Newhan. Mike Vento scores.

Dunn's bat, Nyjer Morgan's speed, skills, Dukes' arm, bat, that's an OF...(sorry, Hammer!) - EC

Done any other searching? All I can find is a CBS Sports message board post...

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

More folks confirming now...
