Washington Times Reporting: Jordan Zimmermann DL'd, Collin Balester Recalled...
Washington Times' writer Mark Zuckerman is reporting, in an article entitled, "Zimmermann to DL, Balester recalled", that Jordan Zimmermann felt "slight discomfort" in his right elbow, and the Nationals are taking no chances, placing Zimmermann on the DL and recalling the author of Bally's Blog, DC right-hander Collin Balester, who's been down in Syracuse all year waiting to come back to DC.
Note: Zimmermann doesn't seem worried at all.

Ant wrong there
Im hoping like hell its nothing. In Nats Town…a tooth ache is cause for brain cancer…and a sore arm is the end of a career.

The odds of stretching out young pitchers for a few wins in a meaningless season to save management jobs...
…is that one or more might become the Prior/Wood of the future (and who was their manager?….)
Olsen’s already down, so I’m really glad to hear Zimm speak up and the Nats make the right decision.
