Potomac Nationals Weekly Update. Nationals' Prospect Sean Rooney Interview.

• (ed. note - "Anthony Masterson, (Broadcast/Media Assistant with the Class-A Carolina League's Potomac Nationals), usually sends along "an audio recap of the P-Nats' week", but the last two weeks Mr. Masterson has sent us interviews with some of the top prospects playing in Potomac. Last week it was Chris Marrero, this week, Mr. Masterson interviews P-Nats' catcher Sean Rooney, the Washington Nationals' 8th Round pick, 241st overall in 2006, who is currently hitting .299 with a .358 OBP, .472 SLG, .830 OPS, 16 doubles, 6 HR's and 37 RBI's in 55 games.)

Latest Update: Sean Rooney was 1 for 3 Tuesday night with a double, two walks and 2 runs scored. Danny Espinosa was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's. Michael Burgess ends the night 3 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI's. P-Nats' lefty Tom Millone improves to (4-3, 3.69 ERA). The P-Nats beat the Pelicans, 10-1 final.
