Game 119: No walk-off for Pete this time...
- Boooo! Ryan Zimmerman flies out with runners on the corners and two out in the bottom of the 9th (-0.206)
- Boooooo! Sean Burnett gives up the game-losing dinger (-0.241)
- g0at: Pete "Not so clutch tonight" Franchise (-0.298)
- 'A' for effort: Nyjer Morgan (+0.165), Jason Bergmann (+0.179), Craig Stammen (+0.138)
Another exciting see-saw, but this time it ended the wrong way. Maybe next time. Amusingly enough, 0.108 of Stammen's positive WPA is from batting--only 0.030 is from pitching.

He's a flash in the pan
Padilla walked into the Nats' clubhouse for the first time and said, "My God. I'm in heaven."

It's a little surprising
I wonder what is going on behind the scenes in terms of personality conflicts and the like…because on performance Rizzo is eating it up.

A lot of talk going on with that, three people have sent me some the same links...
