Multi-year deal…won’t discuss length because GMs should be permanent in everybody’s eyes. It’s important.
Rizzo said pitching pitching pitching…need a veteran in the rotation, lots of work to be done on bullpen…stronger up the middle and mashers on the corners.
Rizzo happy with Riggles but will go through the process offseason and get the best manager

Evaluation this season...
needed a + + center fielder. Outfield was unacceptable. Focused in on Nyjer and sent a lot of scouts. Got to see him play in CF when McClouth was injured and he was great. Top of the order hitter…speedy…80+ in the clubhouse (whatever that means)
Rizzo's proudest moment in baseball?...Today...
The fact that the Lerners trust him to run their baseball team.
