He needed a run
And frankly, the Hammer wasnt hitting the broadside of a barn…and could use a break.
Padilla walked into the Nats' clubhouse for the first time and said, "My God. I'm in heaven."
NatCast Showers possible 35%
It shouldn’t rain the whole time, but lingering showers or thunderstorms may impact the game. A rain delay is a possibility at some point.

Going to the Chiefs game tonight vs the Durham Bulls.
The Chiefs are 1.5 games back of Durham for the wild card so it is a huge game
Go Nats!!!!

Rain update By Pete McElroy 6:03 PM
As of 6:00 p.m. the tarp is on the field with a steady rain falling. After looking at the radar and talking with a few people in the organization, the game will not start at 7:05 p.m.
I’m hearing there is a window to start the game between 8:30-9:00 p.m., but the window looks pretty small.
Maybe they will try to get as many innings in as possible and hope for the best.
After all, it is Frank Howard bobblehead night.

Game likely to start around 8:30 p.m. By Mark Zuckerman
…just about everyone expects there to be baseball tonight. The system that’s blowing through the region is moving through faster than expected, and team officials believe tonight’s game against the Brewers will be played, perhaps starting somewhere in the 8:30 p.m. range.

Just got back from the park...
Wanted to get the Frank Howard bobblehead for the ol’ collection, but it didn’t look like there was any real chance of baseball when I got there. It’s been raining all day, but it does look like it’ll break.
I hope the game is on, for the sake of all of you out-of-towners (and by that, I mean Ed).
It's cleared up where I am.
