Stephen Strasburg To Make "Unofficial" Professional Debut As Phoenix Desert Dog Acc To MiLB.com's Jonathan Mayo.

MiLB.com's Jonathan Mayo is reporting that '09 #1 overall pick, Stephen Strasburg will be pitching for the Arizona Fall League's Phoenix Desert Dogs along with the Washington Nationals' second '09 1st Round pick pitcher Drew Storen and '07 4th Rounder, catcher Derek Norris, who, Mr. Mayo writes:

"...will be another top backstop in Arizona as the No. 47 prospect will get the chance to form what many hope will be the future battery in Washington with Strasburg and Storen on the Phoenix roster.
