Stephen Strasburg To Make "Unofficial" Professional Debut As Phoenix Desert Dog Acc To MiLB.com's Jonathan Mayo.
MiLB.com's Jonathan Mayo is reporting that '09 #1 overall pick, Stephen Strasburg will be pitching for the Arizona Fall League's Phoenix Desert Dogs along with the Washington Nationals' second '09 1st Round pick pitcher Drew Storen and '07 4th Rounder, catcher Derek Norris, who, Mr. Mayo writes:
"...will be another top backstop in Arizona as the No. 47 prospect will get the chance to form what many hope will be the future battery in Washington with Strasburg and Storen on the Phoenix roster.

Ordered a Strasburg jersey tee last week and got an e-mail today telling me that they can’t do it. What the hell?
Probably making up official ones now...
I got mine before he signed so I guess at that point the name and # weren’t MLBPA property…
