Game 110: The bullpen did WHAT?!
- Yaaay! Josh Willingham's bases-loaded, go-ahead RBI single (+0.264)
- Booooo! Collin Balester gives up a three-run bomb to put the Nationals down by 5 (-0.186)
- teh Her0(s): Hammertime! (+0.368), Mike MacDougal (+0.249)
- teh g0at: Battlestar (-0.316)
I don't know how they're doing it. I can hear the Friday fireworks in the background as I post this, and it's just awesome. How did they hold that lead? I totally thought MacDoooooooody would blow it. Shame on me.

Love the graphy goodness........
Elijah Dukes drove in the Nationals’ first three runs with a sacrifice fly in the second and a two-run double in the fourth.
We couldn't buy a AA pitcher for $2 million? Really?

Not the news I wanted to read either, after a streaky win.........
Maybe this time it won’t be serious and won’t be mysterious……

“He just came in and he feels a little something there. We are concerned [enough] to not let him throw in the bullpen,” interim manager Jim Riggleman said. “He wants to pitch. But with where we are at, we are going to get him looked at again, get some pictures taken. *Hopefully, he will be pitching.”*

The medical staff has done such a great job with elbow injuries in years past.
I’m now more than a little concerned.
Eric Berry for sending the guy who wins the Heisman spinning 720 degrees in the air at the podium - or for intercepting it and returning it to where it rightfully belongs

ALARM!
I just read it and swore loudly!
Padilla walked into the Nats' clubhouse for the first time and said, "My God. I'm in heaven."
More alarming is that the Sps will run out of innings, and even the dregs are being snatched up to make starts....for contenders...

Man, I hope it isn't that inverted W motion he has........
Don’t worry about his elbow. It’s nothing. Really, it’s nothing. Just a little discomfort.

In other news, outfielder Austin Kearns had tissue removed from his injured right thumb in Baltimore. He will be re-evaluated on Monday to determined how long he will be out for.
With any luck, 2010 and a Spring invite with the Mets…

Yayyyyy!!!!........... (Olney...)
Many teams are believed to have struck deals with their top picks. So why haven’t we heard about them? Teams will announce over-slot deals at the last minute so it seems like they’re respecting the commissioner’s recommended bonuses.
BOOOOOOOOOO……..
•Real doubts are beginning to emerge that the Nats will be able to sign Stephen Strasburg.
