Concerned yes, but a little less than the headline....
The MRI exam on Jordan Zimmermann’s right elbow caused concern with the Nationals doctors and will be sent to orthopedist James Andrews.

“There was concerning facts on the MRI that was read by our team doctor,” said acting general manager Mike Rizzo. "So what we have done since then is sent the films to Dr. James Andrews, who is going to read them Monday.

Still, worse than Dr. Nick saying everything's okey-dokey.......
I’m hoping the team doctor just wants a second cya opinion for the overly cautious approach… Seeing something is better than seeing nothing, right?

Be tough to lose two top prospects in 1 week...

Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

No, this is definitely NOT good.
we can only hope the damage is minor and he’ll be ready for spring training. i do fear the worst, though.

He's young. He'll walk it off.

I guess it's a done deal, then........
As Dave from NNN reports:
“The logical reason to send just the results to Andrews, and not Zimmermann himself for an evaluation, is to confirm their diagnosis that surgery is necessary, and Zimmermann will be lost for the rest of the season.”

I just hope Dave's hyperventilating here.....
Perhaps they just want some backup before shutting him down for rest, considering the track record of previous medical teams and the PR hit with the skeptical fans…

It's a little of both, I'd bet.
With that being said, this is why I was concerned about Zimmerman complaining of elbow issues. The track record on coming back from TJ is a lot better now than it’s been, so that’s a plus.
