Managing the 'pen is 100% under Mr. Riggleman.........

I feel I can trust that when a pitcher (like Martin today) is left in, it’s because he still has it, and not because they want to get him the win. Conversely, quick hooks for the ineffective rather than arbitrarily leaving them in because it’s their inning.

Dunn mentioned he didn’t like that nickname during a discussion of “gentleman’s names” that Morgan (Tony Plush) was coming up with for the players. It’s a Fed Baseball derivative of “Don’t Call Me Ryan” (DCMR) for Jordan Zimmermann, which came from a Spring Training article on another blog…
