Game 132: Well, we rested the young arms...
by Doghouse on Sep 1, 2009 7:52 AM EDT
Well, Livan Hernandez (-0.091) threw an 8-inning CG, scored the Nats' only run, and bunted into a bases-loaded double play to erase the team's best shot at taking the lead. Pete Orr (+0.078) continues to hit everything in sight and Josh Bard (+0.071) came through on a PH appearance, only to be erased by Wil Nieves' (-0.100) own GDP. The middle of the order (Ryan Zimmerman, Adam Dunn, Josh Willingham) combined for 5 Ks and one hit (-0.372 for the lot).
