Game 141: Only a little "interesting"...

  • Yaaaaay! Mike Morse (+0.275) hits a two-out, pinch-hit RBI double to break the game open (+0.275)
  • Yaaaaaay! (x2) Mike MacDougal gets into and out of jams with GDPs to end both the 8th (+0.133) and 9th (+0.205)

Caught the last three AB in the car coming back from a friend's wedding rehearsal dinner.  Big Mac kept it interesting while keeping the score a bit wider than last night.  Looks like this one was a real nail-biter right to the end.

That sharp downturn after Gloads

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

I blame my iPhone for this...

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"

I was so used to ex-Expos going on to greatness......

It’s weird what ex-Nats do…

''...we were tied for first place for the wild card, and we can't have September call-ups. We couldn't do any trades. They didn't want us to win.''

Manager Jim Riggleman said Desmond may see playing time at 2B and ***in the OF*** before the season ends. ...

Going to ruin that kid…

Seriously, let's not get too creative, InterJim...

Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."

It's like he thinks Ian is Anderson or something...

Outfield?…..We need to take playing time away from outfielders?

DESMOND!

Lets get ris of Guz… someone throw him in front of the car Homer Simpson prank style.

Padilla walked into the Nats' clubhouse for the first time and said, "My God. I'm in heaven."

"Mike Morse, who grew up in South Florida, had a cluster of family and friends in the skimpy crowd of about 4,000. "

“I’ll say 4,200, because a lot of people came just to see me,” he said with a grin.

Nice clutch PH 2-RBI double, Mike.
