Game 153: We've had worse
This game was all about Javier Vazquez (+0.512), who managed to put John Lannan's (+0.095) decent start to waste by denying him any run support except for a Josh Bard (+0.011) home run in junk time. No drama or standouts, just another loss. After 100, who's even counting?

"....lost for the 101st time -- one shy of last year's total."
More than last year?………. More?
Mezza: ''Are we there yet?'' ...Roscoe: "In baseball hell? Yes we are."
"I did not want to take Pete Orr's bat out of the lineup."

"Lannan threw a season-high 122 pitches..." ...RIGG..........ah, nevermind... lowered his ERA from 4.07 to 3.93.
Willingham said he lost it in the lights……
“…a ball that deflected off the left leg off second-base umpire Scott Barry and went under the glove of Orr at second base.”
Musical chairs in the OF make Willie and Justin confused………
Dibble’s right…….good teams don’t screw with the lineup like this…….

The top of the first inning was the perfect storm of suck!
In the post game interview, Orr said he saw the ball fine and just booted it. He didn’t think it hit the umpire. He did say the umpire apologized to him, but that he just missed it.
