question to be thrown

Milton Bradely on the open Market….

i know i know bad attitude…

However:

One of the best Hitters in baseball two seasons ago…

380 obp in what was otherwise an awful drop this year

worth a flyer?

I say yes.

by martins on Sep 28, 2009 6:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Definitely not.

The Nationals are struggling enough as it is. Unless we can be sure that Bradley’s clubhouse behavior will change, I don’t think it’s a good idea. There isn’t a big enough clubhouse presence to keep him in check just yet.

+1 on passing on Bradley the cancer

No way u want an older, more toxic Lastings Milledge.

his health is an issue no doubt

I dont really believe in bad influences in the clubhouse, everybody wants to win, regardless of how they feel abot each other.

But I feel like you can get this guy dirt cheap right now, a guy who Ops’ed 1000 in 08…seems too good too pass up

For the Nats, nothing.

First 15 picks in the first round are protected anyway, so they’d give up pick 1of the 2nd round.

I can kind of agree with that.

‘course, that’s because I think the Nats are going to blow next year too. 95 games of Milton Bradley won’t change that, although the hilarity of Riggleman trying to keep him in check might be worth bringing him in.
