Game 135: Hope and FAIL
- Her0: Josh Willingham (+0.230) kept leading the charge toward 50% WP, much to the delight of Mrs. Doghouse's friend CookieLover (Willingham = "Cookie").
- Boooo! Josh Bard (-0.272) just can't catch a bases loaded break, fanning twice.
- G0at: Garret Mock (-0.392) goes 3 innings at an 18 ERA clip...
- Yaaaay! The game ended in time for Friday fireworks.
Alberto Gonzalez (+0.112) actually did something at the plate, with a triple and a single, while Adam Dunn (+0.102) was 3-4 with a walk and some excellent "Crocodile" Dunn-D, handily showing up Nick Johnson (+0.077) with the leather. At the end of the day, though, it was all about the LOB...

Alright, "Crocodile" Dunn-D is very funny...

Padilla walked into the Nats' clubhouse for the first time and said, "My God. I'm in heaven."
Dunn and "D" are two things I'd never considered......... Doghouse= comic genius....

Team LOB was 11......... Bard left 10....... involved in all but one stranding...
Pitiful….
"I Never Want the First Pick Again."
Wil Nieves would have only stranded 9...

I only want a PH in a crucial situation because Nieves can enter a game.
Or, vice versa….

Right....... wait, we have an emergency catcher or two........
What was Riggleman thinking? Bard still the best option? He’s due after failing the first two times? Holding back Nieves in case of extras in a 9-5 game? Lost his concentration on the game????

Still, there is someone who owns a mask (and who is the real emergency catcher?)
So, in case of the unlikely event of a Nieves injury after replacing Bard, you wouldn’t have to put Livan behnd the plate.
