So long, so-so Sosa.

Designated for assignment.

Guess they’re going to have to sew another name onto 29 (yes, I know they don’t sew those on, but ‘iron’ doesn’t sound like ‘so’).

Here you go, Roscoe.... from Chico...

“Riggleman, on the plan for Desmond: “I’ll get him some games, but as long as Guzman is healthy he’ll be playing. If his foot flares up on him that will be an opportunity to get Desmond in there, but we also have Gonzalez and Orr who will be playing up the middle. I love to see young players play, but I don’t ever want to take away the opportunity from the veterans who have been here all year… and disregard their efforts all year by planting them on the bench. Like I said, the at bats might be inconsistent.”

Dunn has worked out much better than I thought he would, especially as a 1B (knock on wood). If we trade him to an AL contender next year for gravy/icing, so much the better.

But it is really pretty after the snow first falls. And it’s so quiet because the snow absorbs so much sound. And skiing really fast is pretty much fun, too.

Or do we get a do-over since a draft has passed? Or is there even a rule for that? Did the rule-drafters forsee someone being such a jerk-wad? I figure we could get him in the 4th or 5th round with a $200K signing bonus…

He was already really lucky that Miami

scored so fast on that last series. They left the ’Noles 2 minutes to get down field and score. But it seemed like the ’Noles kind of panicked at the end.

Nope. It's sort of set up...we play his first ever team where he coached...

and we have to pay Jimbo 4 million bucks if he’s not head coach by January 10, 2011.

Need new D coaches big time. They’ll "retire after this season and we’ll make a good run next year.
