Heard this: The Nationals have again put Josh Willingham back out on the market. If they deal him, could clear the way for Dunn to go to OF.

 like the idea of trading Josh, especially if it is for a top of the line prospect pitcher. What I don't like, is Dunn back in LF.

I guess this is why they are looking at Mike Jacobs. It just depends on if we can get a  good deal.

what we need to do is trade josh willingham for another decent starting pitcher (preferably Derek Lowe since they have been rumored to be trying to trade him) and bring up justin maxwell and transition him to take willingham’s spot in left field

i would love derek lowe

but I dont think even the braves are dumb enough to dismantle their whole rotation

Mike Jacobs was the least useful player in all of baseball in 2009

Go I hope we do not sign him!

Signing Willingham would be a huge mistake. All round he is far more valuable than Dunn and paid much less. If you want proof look at the Wins above replacement vlaue in fangraphs.
