Buccos Dugout/Federal Baseball Fantasy Baseball League

While arguing back and forth with the quality baseball fans over at buccos dugout, one of them suggested the idea of a fantasy baseball league to see 'who is the bigger idiot' I believe were his words. I said I'd be happy to orchestrate such a league and that I'd get people from here. The format will be two divisions (FB and BD), head to head (points or roto, it doesnt matter to me). Who's interested?

I'm down, I'll vote whichever way will get the most people in.

And actually I’m a Nats fan and I defended Adam Dunn’s honor (admirably too, considering Dunn is about a 1 WAR player) against the Jeff Clement horde of evil.

I just set up the Federal Baseball league, so I’m definitely doing that one, but if after a few days nobody else has stepped up to represent FB against the no good BD crowd, count me in.

It’s something I’d been talking about with Ed for a while, and we certainly don’t want to discourage participation this league, but I think there is going to be more than enough interest to fill both of them.

if we can’t get enough reps from FB, we’ll postpone it a year; I don’t fancy the idea of us three taking on ~17 buccos.

If it's a 10 team league, I think we could find 5 here.

Or even 6, for a 12 team league. I’m kind of really interested in doing this, especially because it’s a non-standard format. But if we don’t have the numbers then I’m with you :(

I concur, we could very well get five here. But I’ve got approximately thirty buccos who want in so I’ve gotta make it ten each. I guess we should probably put it off a year, see if we could draw people from the one you’re running next year.
