I'm hoping all the non-roster invitees get uninvited as soon as it's apparent why they ended up with a minor league deal with the Nats...

In the meantime, they can grab a few paychecks, tell some stories to the kids, do that “going about your business” thing, and stick around for an injury call-up if they want to…

Hey, no one’s picking Chico to come out of nowhere to claim a spot…

Yeah

That is what I hope happens. I like Matt and that would be very good for the organization.

As long as Rizzo and Riggler play fair and reward the best players.......

No more roster games and auditions for trades……No repeat of what they did to Bergmann last year…

That is all

All that I ask for is an honest spring training. I want the best people to play. If Desmond is better than Guz, well sorry Guz. If Maxwell steals Dukes job so be it. I just want an honest spring training.

Mrs. Doghouse likes Chico (the pitcher), too.

I’d like to seem him come back and make the rotation, but he’s got to be a long shot at this point.

But i think its probably hard to tell...

I mean if he was throwing with such a bad injury – he might be a very different pitcher than the one we remember. Im intrigued

I left my own wild card (MOCK) off the list too...ugh...

I shouldn’t have rushed to put the poll up during lunch…

Sorry, Mock!!

I just hope they stop jerking Mock (and others) around....

"…while Mock will be used as the closer. “We’re grooming him as a closer,” Rizzo said."

That was right before opening day last year…. Then, he was a starter after the break…

Detwiler is out three months with hip surgery
