Washington Nationals: HotStove.com: Reaction To The Adam Kennedy Signing.
Tom Reese at Hot Stove.com has put together another collection of opinions on the Nationals' decision to sign free agent infielder Adam Kennedy once they failed to sign Orlando Hudson. Participating this week:
Will Yoder of The Nats Blog
Ed Chigliak of FB
Anthony Emerson of Bleacher Report.
Comments
I agreed with Ed and Yoder.
No chance the Nats contend this season. Kennedy is an ok guy that fills the hole until we find someone to fill it longterm.

To be EXACT, Yoder typed:
“feel that he was an asset we just didn’t need to splurge on. The Nationals aren’t likely to content in 2010,”
Aren’t likely to “contend in 2010..”…YOU THINK?
It’s not the obvious— that this team won’t contend for YEARS in the NL East….
.the bigger issue here is……you blow opportunities to be the best you can be because of this kind of money ( chump change…..not Teixiera bucks)..you WILL improve your place in the draft…but you sure as HE!! are not scoring points with those playing in the top tier Free Agent Market
