Good thing they didn't sign this guy...
Reds pitching phenom leaves game with back pain
“He was charged with four unearned runs in the second inning he pitched, and threw 31 pitches, only 16 of them for strikes. He finished having thrown 39 pitches, allowing the four unearned runs on two walks, two hits and a wild pitch, and striking out two.”
"There's a *raccoon* roaming around the concourse at Space Coast Stadium."
...good omen on the morning of Strasburg's Debut
I recorded it, though I've decided not to write about Chapman any more...
He was totally out of the inning here, with what would have been a good outing when an error on the shortstop led to a longer outing than planned. A little wild, but he was 96-98 with the fastball like the Nats’ own flame-thrower, and he dropped a devastating change on one of the two hitters he K’d…once you see him, I think you’ll lament that the Nats missed out…
Vivian Jaffe: "Have you ever transcended space and time?"
Albert Markovski: "Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about."
