Nationals News: WATCH STEPHEN STRASBURG TODAY AT 1:05 Edition
This serves as just another reminder that Stephen Strasburg will be making his first Spring Training start today, which will be televised on MASN locally and also on MLB Network nationally. It will also be shown on MLB.tv, though I don't see it listed as of now.
Nationals News
Stephen Strasburg made CBS's evening news program, earning more positive attention for the Nats.
Cristian Guzman appears to be the no. 2 hitter this season, but Adam Kilgore wonders whether Adam Kennedy would be a better no. 2 hitter.
Though he's been getting less press with Strasburg starting tomorrow, Bryce Harper is still doing exceedingly well in college ball, posting a .408/.500/.831 line thus far.
Chien-Ming Wang has arrived in Florida, but remains "far down the road" from pitching in a game.
More after the jump...
Scott Olsen believes he has discovered the mechanics that led to his injury, and is working to correct them. He's also really excited that his arm didn't hurt after yesterday's game.
Cristian Guzman's agent is mum on whether he will ask to be traded if Ian Desmond gets the starting nod.
Any time Jim Bowden covers the Nats, I just have to watch. This week, he interviews Mike Rizzo.
Non-Nationals News
Almost (?) National Aroldis Chapman made his Spring Training debut yesterday, and was impressive.
Chad Cordero, former Nats closer, is trying to make his comeback with the Mariners.
