Glad to see this move. Taveras gave us basically two good games against the Mets. It was past time to cut bait and I guess that Morse needed some at bats. I wonder if this means that they may be planning to start Morse tomorrow? Certainly, he’s much more of a professional hitter should they need a PH. Do we have any right handed outfield bats outside of Hammer right now? I’m quite scared of them making him a major part of an RF platoon because I don’t think that he’s that great a defender. I’d like to see him spot sub for Dunn, play against Lefties when we’ve got a ground baller on the mound (like maybe Stammen), and show some pinch hitting thump off the bench.
