Nats' Prospect Derek Norris Hit In Head, Hospitalized, But OK...
Baseball Prospectus' writer Kevin Goldstein (@Kevin_Goldstein) sent out the following message about the no.2 ranked Nats' prospect Derek Norris via Twitter earlier tonight:
"#Nationals C Derek Norris hit in head by fastball; motionless for 10 minutes and taken to hospital; is conscious and moving extremities."
According to MLB.com's Bill Ladson (@washingnats):
"[Nats' Director of Player Development] Doug Harris indicated that #Nats C Derek Norris is OK, but Norris is going to take more tests after being hit in the head by a pitch."
