He’s a pinch hitter with more pop off the bat but the next move to make would be to send Taveras down and bring up another reliever. Be interesting to see what happens if Chico delivers a solid outing on Saturday.

it’s probably about low pressure and having a threat in the bottom of the order. I’d like to see Desmond bat 7th and a good managerial converation with a veteran leading that veteran to take one for the team and bat 8th. Tonight, you’d like that to be Willie Harris.

He was seriously shaky in the second and sorta in the third…but got it together.
very frustrating game though.
both starters were great but then bruney happens.. and it’s pretty much over. not much offense for us tonight. sucks to lose this way and it only gets tougher tomorrow. it’d be nice if we could get 3 games over .500 but i guess it’s not meant to be. sorry for my depressing tone. i’m very sad.

This is his first game back after his dad died unexpectedly last week. That’s got to be rough.
Thinking the same, and back so quickly...sad. He had a great night against the Nats...
