Buyers or sellers? Why not both?
This is how I see it. The majority of our current setup is pretty solid. We've got a few holes to plug, but we're pretty much set otherwise, so any buying we do is limited. Similarly, we've got a little bit of room as far as people we can trade, but most of our sales have to be prospects, so we're limited there, too.
But what if we use that position to our advantage? There are teams that aren't going to contend for three or four years at least; we can give them prospects for a couple of good people. On the other side, there are teams that are in contention and vet-heavy enough that we can ask them for the middle/back of their depth charts in exchange for, again, prospects enough to keep their teams young.
I may be talking nonsense, but it sounds like good sense to me.
