Not to rub it in Patrick...
but if ever there was a day that the Nats should have done an Expos tribute…..
Aim for the head baby Jesus
They REALLY REALLY REALLY ought to come up with SOME way
Even if it’s just a montage of Dawson’s exploits in the field during the game Tuesday, they HAVE TO find a way to honor the guy.

Any Hall of Famer should get props from every team, but he really should get some recognition specifically from the Nats
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park.
I wrote a long piece about this for SB Nation DC that they're pondering publishing today or tomorrow...
The Cubs and Marlins are both honoring Dawson, and MASNSports.com’s Phil Woods made reference to the Nats having something planned for the future. If they were at home it would be a little more inexcusable to ignore it in my mind…
Congrats Hawk, you were one of my favorites.

Off the grid today ladies and gents.
Heading off to a bar near Union Station and hopefully I’ll be able to make some good notes on Det’s start.
LET’S GO NATS!!!!
On a desperate search for Sunshine at Nats Park.
Hopefully in mid-August ...
you’ll get a glimmer of the future with Maya, Zimmermann and Detwiler pitching with Stras for a bit. Maybe.
Or you’ll get to see Marquis and Lannan get Pearl Harbored.
Who knows what fortune Riggle roulette will bring?
Back shortly...is the format here all screwy for everyone today?

Dibble makes no sense
He says that Detwiler can’t throw his other pitches for strikes, and the Brewers are teeing off on his fastball, so…
he should throw more fastballs.
Clearly, Det is TRYING to get his secondary stuff right. This will make his fastball effective.

When Ladson has to come up with things from his own mind...
…the results can be comic. But when he is reporting actual news, he appears to have an inside track to some of the other reporters because I imagine MLB prefers their own guys to be able to break more news and direct more traffic to MLB stuff. If it weren’t for Patrick and others, I’d probably hold my nose and subscribe to Ladson as well.

That was more Dunn Rachel ...
He had time … Dunn wasn’t even in front of the ball that’s stuff you learn in little league, no excuse for Dunn …
Eh it goes both ways
But you know what to expect from Dunn. I guess that can be said for the Future too
Sunshine will come to Nats Park, I promise.
It wasn't a bad throw it was right in front of him ...
He could have actually caught it on the fly … its definitely a bad Dunn.
